Understanding Aviation Reports
METAR
A routine weather observation report issued every hour. Includes wind, visibility, clouds, temperature, dewpoint, and altimeter setting.
TAF
Terminal Aerodrome Forecast covering the next 24-30 hours. Predicts how weather will change over time, including temporary variations (TEMPO) and gradual transitions (BECMG).
NOTAM
