Methodology
This report is based on FlightQueue's continuous monitoring of FAA Airport Status updates throughout March 2026. We track ground delays, ground stops, arrival/departure delays, and closures reported by the FAA's ATCSCC (Air Traffic Control System Command Center).
Delay percentages represent the proportion of operational hours during which an airport had at least one active FAA delay program. Average delay duration is calculated from the reported delay intervals. Airports must have at least 20 days of data in the reporting period to be included.
Regional groupings follow standard FAA ARTCC (Air Route Traffic Control Center) boundaries. Data is updated daily and the final monthly report is compiled on the 13th of each month.
