Add the server to your MCP settings, then send the prompt. In a terminal client the add step looks like this.

add server
claude mcp add --transport http flightqueue https://mcp.flightqueue.com/mcp
prompt
Read https://flightqueue.com/setup.md and follow it to set up FlightQueue for me.

Assistants without plugins

Any agent can read flightqueue.com/setup.md and follow it. Developers can read the agent access guide and the MCP docs.

Questions

What does the setup do?

Your AI assistant connects to FlightQueue, asks which airport you fly from, then shows the current security wait and FAA delay status. It can also set an alert for long waits.

Do I need an API key?

No. You sign in with OAuth in your browser. No key and no password go through the chat. Only people who build software need a free API key, and the assistant offers one when you say so.

Is it free?

Yes, to start. Airport search, overviews, FAA delays, current security wait estimates, crowd reports and alerts work on the free plan. Wait forecasts, historical wait series and live scraped wait times are premium. The assistant mentions the paid plan only when you ask for one of those.

Does the assistant change my files?

Not without your clear yes. It can offer to save your home airport as one line in CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md. It asks first.

Which assistants work?

Claude Code, Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and any other client that supports remote MCP servers. Assistants without plugins can read the setup.md file and follow it.
